ChatGPT may be writing for you, but who will write for ChatGPT? This question arises due to the fact that OpenAI the AI startup behind ChatGPT-5 like advanced LLM model is hiring a Content Strategist. Open AI has announced this job hiring for this position at it’s San Francisco office in US. The job opening was laughed upon by social media users.
This opening comes at a time when several companies across the world are replacing job roles with AI. The most recent was San Francisco-based Salesforce, which laid off around 4,000 employees as the customer support roles were replaced by AI agents. The cloud-based software company’s CEO, Marc Benioff, said that AI is helping to generate more sales leads.

Social Media Reactions!
Social media users had their quirky way of taking a dig at OpenAI. Some even highlighted the irony in this hiring like “OpenAI is hiring a Content Strategist with a salary of $393K/year. If the very company that builds the world’s most advanced AI still invests in humans for content, maybe it’s time to rethink this assumption that AI can do everything and writers are easily replaceable!” said one user, adding: “So the next time someone says ‘AI will take care of content”, just point them to this job listing.”.
Another user said “SEO is dead, content marketing is a waste of time. Meanwhile, the biggest disruptor of the decade is hiring a content strategist for $300k to $400k.”, “A decent sign that AGI isn’t quite here yet is OpenAI offering $400k for a Content Strategist,” a third commented.
